Welcome!
My name is Isobel and my small animal boarding service, Birkin Boarders, strives to provide a luxury holiday for your beloved pet. I have owned guinea pigs since I was a child (and still have two!) and when I first moved out, I immediately got two house rabbits. I have recently moved again so there is now even more space to better care for all the furry guests I have the pleasure of caring for. I know the amount of love that people have for their animals, no matter their size and I share that passion. While your hamster, rabbit(s) or guinea pig(s) stay with me, they will be treated as one of the family and given a lot of care and attention. That is my promise to you.
Health and Happiness:
Regular supervision means behaviour can be observed, so any changes will be picked up and action taken. I am covered by PetPlan Sanctuary insurance, so should anything happen while you are away, please be assured your little one is protected. There will always be clean accommodation, fresh vegetables and they will have unlimited hay, fun and love.
Please let me know of any health issues before boarding. I can usually accommodate, but please let me know and we can discuss further.
Pet Accommodation:
Birkin Boarders is run from two fully lit and temperature controlled (heating and aircon) outbuildings alongside my house, so I am never far away.
There are two accommodation options for bunnies (standard 6ft hutches and larger 6x6ft pens) and spacious, 160cm ferplast cages for guinea pigs.
Guests have access to daily exercise and there is plenty of room for popcorning/binkies!

I am always only a message/phone call away if you would like an update while you're away and I will try to send a photo of your pet if you're away for an extended period of time.

Please note, I only accept bookings for stays within the next 6 months i.e. If it is January, you can only book up to June and no further in advance than this.
